LMS / ILS Integration
If your library system is providing a full integration solution, the Lyngsoe Staff Mate™ software can be fully embedded into your library system. Your library system will automatically harness the software when reading materials’ ID or checking materials in or out. The Staff Mate application also enables you to handle theft protection by simply activating or deactivating the AFI/EAS in the RFID tags.
Keyboard Shortcuts
Even if your library system does not provide full integration, you can activate the Staff Mate software through keyboard shortcuts to handle processes such as material ID transferring or theft protection. You can easily configure keyboard shortcuts to fit your processes.
Easy Conversion from Barcode to RFID
In the library conversion mode, a few simple steps quickly guide you through the reading of bar codes from a bar code scanner and writing these on the RFID tags. The RFID software is designed in compliance with the ISO 28560 standard.
Protected Configuration
To prevent unwanted settings, the configuration is protected by a password for administrators. You can select RFID reader type and choose other settings in the drop-down menus to fit your library’s specific needs.
Choose from three staff workstation options. All handle RFID tagged material and make fast work of transmitting identification between item and the library management system. Issue, return, renew and program RFID tags seamlessly with either configuration.
